The Open Source Miners United (OSMU) was founded in March 2023, and is a community for open-source Bitcoin mining projects like Bitaxe aimed at challenging closed-source industry practices. Unlike nearly every other mining equipment manufacturer, OSMU projects release all design files and firmware to the public, allowing for transparency, repairability, and most importantly to keep development decentralized. Bitaxe Vendors
Vendors listed on bitaxe.org follow these simple rules
Source provided on the product page for the exact version of the hardware sold. This means if you are selling a modified version of the Bitaxe, you must provide all of the design files. If you are selling stock Bitaxe, linking to bitaxe.org is sufficient.
No public presales of unreleased Bitaxe versions. We cannot promise any timeline.
Photos and description match actual hardware sold. Customers don't want to recieve something different than was advertised. This includes different hardware versions.
